napa.guide helps visitors plan the valley the way a well-traveled friend would: which tasting rooms are worth the drive, where to eat between them, what's on this weekend, and how to get around without anyone driving after tasting.

How we work

Every place page is built from facts on the place's own website and checked again on a schedule. When something changes (hours, fees, a closure), the page goes back to our editor before the update goes live. The events calendar is checked every morning against venue and ticketing pages, and anything we can't verify waits for a person to review it.

We're paid through affiliate links and clearly labeled sponsorships. Here's exactly how.

Our crawler

The napa.guide crawler identifies itself as napa.guide-bot, follows robots.txt, and waits between requests. It reads public event and visitor pages only. To change how it visits your site, add a User-agent: napa.guide group to your robots.txt, or email us and we'll adjust it.

Venues and creators

Listing events is free: submit an event. Creators can share their posts from the "Seen on social" section of any page, and we'll remove a post within 48 hours of any request.
